說明/ 展翅僅約2.1–3 公分，都會綠地常見的小型蝶類。雄蝶翅背面為有光澤的藍色，雌蝶則呈黑褐色。雌雄翅腹面皆為淡褐色，具許多黑色的斑點，但黑邊、黑點在低溫時有消退甚至消失的跡象。本種分布於平地至低海拔山區，成蟲全年可見。外型袖珍的藍灰蝶，喜歡在光線充足的草叢間，貼近地面飛行，造訪小花吸取花蜜。尤其是在學校或公園綠地草坪或四周灌木叢常見。卵多出現在黃花酢醬草背面，幼蟲孵化後以其葉、莖、嫩芽為主食。（彭楨儒攝）

Wingspan about 2.1-3 cm, it is a small-sized butterfly commonly seen in urban green spaces. The back of the male’s wings is glossy blue, while the back of the female’s is blackish-brown. The undersides of the wings of males and females are light brown with many black spots, which become indistinct, even disappear in low temperatures. It is distributed across plains and low altitude mountains. The adults can be seen throughout the year. Small in size, it likes to frequent the underbrush in sunlit environments and fly close to the ground, feeding on the nectar of small flowers. It is particularly often seen on the lawns or near bushes on campus and in parks.
