Firefly Restoration Area (Zone 11)

螢火蟲復育區是中正大學為重現夏季螢火蟲漫舞美景而設立之人工水塘，水面覆蓋眾多睡蓮，是觀察蛙類的最佳地點，偶爾也能巧遇美麗的翠鳥。鄰近的刺竹與雜木林，時而能看 到樹鵲、白頭翁、綠繡眼與小彎嘴畫眉等鳥類，甚至是黃尾鴝一閃而過的身影。水塘與鄰近的水道，也是蛙類觀察的景點，入夜後會傳來各種蛙類的歌聲。（陸維元攝）

The firefly restoration area, which features an artificial pond, was established to restore fascinating firefly light shows in the summer. The pond is filled with water lilies, making it an ideal site for observing frogs and occasional Common Kingfishers. The nearby Thorny Bamboo and mixed forests are visited by birds like Grey Treepies, Chinese Bulbuls, Japanese White-eyes, Taiwan Scimitar Babblers, and even Daurian Redstarts.
