說明/ 常綠灌木或小喬木，株高1–3 公尺。奇數羽狀複葉，羽葉、小葉互生，葉形倒卵形或橢圓形，在陽光下葉面密生許多油腺點，此為芸香科的特徵，若揉搓葉片，會有類似柑橘的濃郁味道。夏秋季開白色的花，花瓣5 枚，為長橢圓形或長橢圓狀披針形。白花盛開時，強烈的香味遠播，因此有七里香的美稱。果實為橢圓形，尾端尖，成熟時為紅色。枝葉耐修剪，適作園藝觀賞植物之用。（黃伊君攝）

Orange Jasmine is a species of evergreen shrub or small tree that typically grows to a height of 1-3 m. It has alternate, pinnately compound leaves with up to seven egg-shaped to elliptical leaflets. The leaves are covered with oil glands, common in the Rutaceae family, and produce a citrus-like smell when rubbed. The plant produces white flowers in summer and autumn with 5 oval-shaped petals. When in bloom, the flowers give off a strong fragrance that can travel long distances, giving the plant the name “Seven Miles Fragrance.” The berries are oval in shape and turn red when ripe.
