說明/ 體長1.2–2 公分，此物種屬姬蜂科，姬蜂的特徵在其細長的身軀與觸角。頭部、前胸背板與複眼黑色，眼緣具黃色邊，腹部紅褐色，細長，長度接近頭胸長的3 倍，末端較粗，腹背各節有黑色斑紋。分布於平地至低海拔山區。雌蜂尾部有一節黑色細長的產卵管，如上圖，生殖時會將卵產在螟蛾科幼蟲體內，出生的幼蟲會以吸收宿主的養分維生。本種姬蜂喜歡於低矮枝葉間活動，飛行速度不快，但生性十分機警，一遇威脅接近會迅速飛離。（彭楨儒攝）

About 1.2-2 cm in length, it is a species in the Ichneumonidae family, the distinguishing features of which include a slender body and long antennae. The head, tergum and compound eyes are black. The eyes have yellow margins; the abdomen is reddish-brown and slender with a length that is 3 times that of the thorax. The abdomen is thicker near the end with black stripes on the back. It is distributed across plains and low altitude mountains. The apex of the abdomen of the female has a black, thin ovipositor (as seen in the above picture), which is used to lay eggs inside the larvae of members of the Pyralidae family. The larvae feed on their hosts. It likes to move between the leaves on lower branches with a moderate flying speed. It has a highly alert nature and flies away swiftly when threatened.
