說明/ 普遍冬候鳥，不普遍留鳥，全長約19–21 公分，雌雄鳥同羽色。磯鷸最大辨識特徵為翼角上方內凹處白色三角形區塊。出現於河口、海岸、沼澤、溪澗及湖邊，幾乎終年可見。單獨活動，沿水邊快速行走覓食，食物以昆蟲為主。頭部不時有點頭動作，行走及停棲時尾羽會上下擺動。常低空飛行，並發出尖銳「嘰– 嘰– 嘰– 嘰– 嘰–」叫聲。（彭楨儒攝）

A common winter migrant, uncommon resident bird, 19-21 cm in length, both sexes have the same plumage color. The white triangular patch at the indented corner of the wings is its most distinctive feature. It appears around estuaries, coasts, marshes, streams, and lakes throughout the year. It moves alone, walking along the shore in fast movements and feeding on insects. When feeding, it often nods its head and wags its tail in vertical movements when paused.
