說明/ 展翅約 5–7 公分，雌蝶翅背面及腹面皆擬態成樺斑蝶，外型和雄蝶完全不同。雄蝶翅背面黑色，前翅中央及尖端各有一塊泛藍色金屬光澤的白斑。後翅背面中央也有相同光澤的大型白斑，前後翅腹面為黃褐色，白斑位置略同，但後翅的擴大成帶狀。分布於平地至低海拔山區，飛行迅速，常於公園、荒地或路邊灌木叢活動。 具領域性，喜歡訪花，幼蟲寄主植物為馬齒莧或車前草等，一般於 4 到 9 月出現。（陸維元攝）

The wingspan is about 5-7 cm in length. The upper side and abdomen of the female closely resemble that of the Plain Tiger (Danaus chrysippus). The female is completely different from the male in appearance. The male’s wings are black on the back with a white spot that gives off a blue metallic gloss at the center and around the margins of its forewings. The hindwings feature a large white spot with a similar luster at the center of the back side. The undersides of forewings and hindwings are yellowishbrown with white spots in varying positions. The hindwings’ white spots expand into bands. It is distributed across plains and low altitude mountains and has a fast flying speed. It is often seen in parks, wastelands, or roadside bushes.
