說明 / 體長約 2.1–2.8 公分，頭至翅端長 3.6–4 公分，主要有綠色和褐色兩種形態。頭 部略呈三角形，複眼大，黃褐色。腹面略呈粉白色，翅膀透明，翅脈與足部綠色或褐色， 足部前端黃褐色。成蟲出現於 5 到 9 月，主要分布於低海拔山區，習慣棲息於林緣的灌 叢或草叢，夜晚具趨光性。若蟲生長於地底，6 月為羽化高峰期，天黑後常可發現出土 的若蟲攀附在後山相思樹樹幹低處，緩慢蛻殼羽化為成蟲。成蟲壽命很短，大約 只有2–4 週，以樹液或露水為食，鳴叫聲輕脆綿長類似「ㄍㄧ ⸺」聲。（彭楨儒攝）

It is about 2.1-2.8 cm in length. The head to the end of its wings is about 3.6-4 cm. It is usually green or orange-brown in color. The head is slightly triangular in shape. The compound eyes are large and yellowish-brown. The underside of the abdomen is pinkish-white. The wings are transparent, and the wing veins and legs are green or brown. The tips of its legs are yellowish-brown. Adults appear between May and September, mostly distributed across low altitude mountains, inhabiting bushes and grasses around the edge of forests. At night, it shows phototaxis. Nymphs live underground and emerge in June. They can often be found on the lower sections of the barks of Formosan Koas where they slowly emerge as adults.
